Two teenagers are facing assault, and vandalism charges after Ventura Police say the duo attacked a man who tried to stop them from damaging vehicles, and walls at an apartment complex.
Investigators say a man saw the two teens smash out the rear window of his vehicle around 8 p.m. Saturday. They say when the man confronted the teens, they threw a can of spray paint at him, and fled the Todd Road complex.
He followed the teens, and police arrested the pair a short distance from the scene. The investigators say they then discovered that the 16 year old Ventura boy, and 17 year old Oxnard boy had also damaged several other vehicles in the apartment complex, and vandalized some of the buildings.
