A transient is facing multiple charges, after Oxnard Police say he first threatened a school janitor, and then responding officers with a screwdriver.
It happened just before 5 p.m. yesterday, on the 300 block of South K Street in Oxnard.
A janitor at the Oxnard Union High School District offices called police, saying a man loitering behind the buildings at first threatened, and then tried to stab him with a screwdriver.
Officers say when they arrived, Raymond Borjas then confronted them with the screwdriver.
Other officers arrived on the scene, and after a brief standoff, they were able to safely take the 43 year old man into custody on assault with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest, and possession of drug paraphernalia charges.
