A search is underway for smugglers in Santa Barbara County.
The Air Force says a boat crashed north of Wall Beach, at Vandenberg Air Force Base today.
Public safety officers are looking for the boat’s occupants, and they’ve warned base personnel to avoid the beach area while the search is underway.
Officials say they think the boat was carrying narcotics, but haven’t released any other details about the craft, or the search effort.
