Special Effects Artists Demonstrate Design Of New Puppet Dinosaur Being Built For Santa Barbara Zoo

The Santa Barbara Zoo’s two newest attractions won’t be creatures you’ll find at any other zoo in the world.

In fact, they look like animals which haven’t roamed the planet for millions of years.

The zoo has enlisted one of Hollywood’s busiest special effects houses to create two dinosaurs which will star in a new show starting this summer.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco reports from Burbank, where a team of designers, and artists is working on what the zoo is hoping will be its hottest new stars.
