Two Ventura County men are behind bars this morning following a string of burglaries in the Conejo Valley.
Ventura County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a home on the 700 block of Capitan Street at around 5 a.m. yesterday, by reports of a burglary in progress. They arrested Arturo Fuentes of Oxnard a few blocks away.
Later yesterday morning, deputies received a report of two more residential burglaries, and two stolen cars from the same area. Oxnard Police spotted one of the cars in Oxnard, and arrested Guillermo Garcia. They say he had some of the stolen items with him in the car.
