Big Rig Driver Killed In Santa Ynez Valley Accident (Santa Barbara County Fire Department Photo)
The driver of a big rig truck is dead, after the truck he was driving went out of control, and crashed in the Santa Ynez Valley.
The accident happened just after 11:30 this morning, on an access road off of Highway 154 near Bradbury Dam. Santa Barbara County Fire Department officials say the truck was carrying a trailer loaded with rock when it rolled off the road on San Lucas Ranch, throwing the driver out of the truck.
The 70 year old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The man’s name hasn’t been released yet.
