The CHP says a Ventura motorcyclist was traveling at speeds close to 100 miles an hour when he lost control of his bike, and crashed, leading to his death.
Pedro Fernandez was southbound on Highway 33 just before 10 yesterday morning near Main Street when he veered off the road, and hit a sign.
The 32 year old man suffered major head injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
