The big Hollywood names continue to head to Santa Barbara this week, for the 28th annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
Academy Award nominated actress Amy Adams will receive the festival’s “Cinema Vanguard” award at the Arlington Theater tonight.
Adams received her fourth Oscar nomination for her role in the critically acclaimed movie “The Master.”
The award is presented to risk takers who do unconventional projects, with past winners including Nicole Kidman, Christoph Waltz, Ryan Gosling, and Stanley Tucci.
The film festival runs through this coming Sunday.
