The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library is going to name one of its galleries after a recently retired Ventura County congressman who was a key part of the establishment of the facility.
Library officials say its “Peace Through Strength” gallery will be named after Congressman Elton Gallegly.
Gallegly left office last year, after serving 26 years in Congress.
The dedication ceremony honoring the Simi Valley Republican will take place in a private event at the library Saturday night.
