A Ventura County woman was killed, and her daughter injured when the woman apparently lost control of the pickup truck she was driving, and hit a tree.
Eydie Brewer was westbound on Newbury Road in Thousand Oaks around 5:30 a.m. yesterday, when the vehicle went off the road, and crashed into the tree.
The 55 year old Simi Valley woman died a short time later at a hospital. Her daughter escaped with minor injuries.
