Ventura County firefighters have put out a fast moving fire which gutted a home in Camarillo’s Leisure Village, and threatened some neighboring units.
The fire was first reported just before 5 p.m., on the 29000 block of Village 29th Street.
Firefighters arrived to find smoke and flames coming from the home, but an occupant was able to get out safely.
Firefighters knocked down the blaze in about a half hour. No one was hurt. There’s no word yet on a cause.
