It’s uncomfortable for most people, and can even be deadly for a few. Flu season has arrived in California, with a spike in cases being reported statewide, as well as here, on the South Coast.
It usually starts to build in late December, and then peaks in early February.
The National Centers For Disease Control says influenza is responsible for about 24,000 deaths annually in the Unites States.
Yet, experts say that so far this season less than half of us have taken the time, and effort to get flu vaccine.
