A Ventura County foundation is trying to help new non-profit groups in the county, by offering them office space at below market rates.
The Ventura County Community Foundation set aside about 1100 square feet of its new non-profit center in Camarillo for what it’s calling “emerging non-profits”.
The space is large enough for three to five non-profit groups. The foundation will lease the area to the new groups for a 33% discount below current market rates, to try to help them get started.
The foundation is currently accepting applications for the new grassroots office suite.
