Ventura Police say they’ve arrested a man who has been committing lewd acts near coffee shops around the city.
Police were called to a Starbucks on the 400 block of Mills Road just after 2 p.m. yesterday, by reports of a man exposing himself. Officers say they caught Jaye Vandervurg as he was trying to flee the scene on foot.
They say he’s a 27 year old vagrant who is responsible for a number of similar acts around the city during the last two weeks. Police are looking for more possible victims.
Vandervurg was arrested for committing lewd acts in public.
