The driver of a sports car killed in a crash in Ventura County, near Point Mugu is finally being identified.
The CHP says Mahalingam Shrinivas apparently lost control of the vehicle while driving at a high rate of speed on Las Posas Road just before 10 last Thursday night.
The car flipped, and crashed into a ditch, bursting into flames. Shrinivas was pronounced dead at the scene.
The passenger had multiple burns, but the injuries wern’t life threatening.
