Two burglary suspects are behind bars, after a chase which started early this morning in Santa Barbara County, and ended hours later with their arrest in a Ventura County neighborhood.
It started at around 6:30 a.m., when the CHP tried to pull over a vehicle on the 101 Freeway in Summerland matching the description of one involved in some burglaries.
The driver refused to stop, prompting a chase heading south on the freeway, with speeds topping 100 miles an hour at times.
The vehicle got off the freeway in Oxnard, eventually stopping, and the two men fleeing on foot near Naples Drive, and Ensign Avenue.
Following an intense search, they were found hours later separately hiding in the neighborhood. No one was hurt.
