Two time Academy Award Winner Daniel Day Lewis is going to be one of the honorees at the upcoming Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
Lewis will receive the festival’s Montecito Award January 26th.
He’s been getting rave reviews from critics for his performance in the movie “Lincoln,” in which he plays the president. Lewis received Academy Awards for his roles in “My Left Foot” and “There Will Be Blood.”
The Montecito Award is presented to artists for standout performances during their careers. Past honorees include Geoffrey Rush, Julianne Moore, and Kate Winslet.
The 28th annual Santa Barbara festival runs January 24th through February 3rd.
