South Coast theater fans are getting the first look at a new holiday musical being developed by an award winning team involved with some acclaimed Broadway hits.
“Little Miss Scrooge” is a modern day version of the Charles Dickens classic “A Christmas Carol”.
But, not only does it switch the gender of the main character, it also uses elements of other Dickens classics. And, to top it off, it’s a musical.
KCLU’s Lance Orozco reports the musical’s creators have launched a staged reading of the production at Ventura’s Rubicon Theater.
