A Ventura man prosecutors say was driving with an alcohol level more than four times over the legal limit has been sentenced to 15 years, to life in prison for striking, and killing a bicyclist.
Satnam Singh entered guilty pleas last month to second degree murder, causing serious bodily injury, and driving under the influence charges.
Last May, the 50 year old man was driving his Humvee along Telegraph road when he became involved in a series of three hit and run collisions.
The last one killed 20 year old Nick Haverland, a 20 year old college student who was riding his bike along the road.
