Authorities are investigating the death of a man in the restroom of a Simi Valley supermarket.
It happened Saturday afternoon, at a Ralph’s supermarket on the 2700 block of Los Angeles Avenue. Store employees say they saw Lucas Hennessy go into a restroom at around 4 p.m. Someone later noticed that the door was locked, and around 5:30, employees forced the door open, and found the 21 year old man was inside, and unconscious.
Paramedics and police were called, but Hennessy was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the death is under investigation, but officers say drug paraphernalia was found with the man in the supermarket’s bathroom.
