Many of the world’s top golfers are in Ventura County this morning, for the World Challenge Golf Tournament, hosted by Tiger Woods.
The 14th annual event has one of the strongest lineups in its history, with a number of U.S. Ryder Cup team members. Woods has won his tournament six times, including last year.
The tournament at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks has raised more than $25 million dollars during its history for the Tiger Woods Foundation, which sponsors a number of educational programs for kids.
The tournament is being broadcast live nationally on the Golf Channel this afternoon, and Friday afternoon, with the final rounds telecast on NBC Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
