A fight over a recreational facility proposed for eastern Ventura County has finally been decided.
A 21 acre paintball park is planned on a chunk of vacant land which was once an egg plant north of Moorpark.
But, neighbors and farmers in the rural part of the county objected, citing environmental concerns ranging from dust, and possible water pollution, to traffic.
KCLU’s Lance Orozco reports the issue ended up in the laps of Ventura County Supervisors for a final decision.
