A sinkhole complete with gurgling water closed a normally busy Oxnard street over the weekend, but it’s now open again today.
Oxnard Police were called to the intersection of Rose Avenue, and Raiders Way around 1:45 Sunday morning, by reports of a huge depression in the roadway.
They arrived to find a 20 foot section of partially collapsed roadway.
Rose Avenue was closed from Channel Islands Boulevard to Gary Drive for about 15 hours, but crews were able to reopen it Sunday night.
