The latest unemployment numbers are showing a dip statewide, but results are mixed here on the South Coast.
In Ventura County, unemployment went from 8.8% in September, to 8.6% in October.
Santa Barbara County showed a slight increase, with the jobless rate climbing from 7.1% in September, to 7.3% in October.
The statewide month to month unemployment figure dropped a tenth of a percent, from 10.2% in September, to 10.1% last month.
