People who were up early this morning may have caught a glimpse of a missile test launch from Santa Barbara County.
The Air Force launched a Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile from Vandenberg Air Force Base, at 3:07 a.m.
The Air Force says the missile successfully reached its destination at a test range in the Western Pacific.
Yesterday, a group of anti nuclear weapons protestors held a demonstration in downtown Santa Barbara over the launch, calling it unnecessary, and a continuation of nuclear weapons proliferation.
