California Political Analyst Says State’s Budget Gridlock Might Not Be Over, Despite Democratic Supermajority In Sacramento

With the November election history, political analysts are busy trying to figure out what the results mean to the political landscape.

In California, while votes are still being counted in some close races for state seats, it appears Democrats have a supermajority in the state legislature.

But, one longtime political observer says don’t hold your breath that the changes will ease the budget gridlock that’s swept Sacramento.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco talks with a Sacramento Bee columnist who’s been covering California politics for five decades.
