Authorities are trying to identify the body of a young man found this morning on a Santa Barbara County beach.
The body was discovered just before 9 a.m. near the 6500 block of Del Play Road, in Isla Vista.
Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s detectives say the man was in his 20’s, and could have been a college student at adjacent UCSB. They say he had injuries consistent with a fall from the cliff above where the body was found, but an autopsy is pending.
