Voters faced a variety of questions in the form of measures in Ventura, and Santa Barbara County communities.
In Thousand Oaks and Buellton, voters were asked whether City Council members should face term limits. Thousand Oaks voters approved Measure L, which limits a council member to three consecutive four year terms, by a 78% margin. Buellton’s Measure C passed by a 77% margin.
Voters in Moorpark rejected a proposal for that city to be involved in the development of up to 200 low income housing units, rejecting it by a 62 percent margin.
In Simi Valley, voters approved a new long term managed growth program, Measure N, by a 75% margin.
And, in Goleta, voters overwhelming approved Measure G, which will give voters a say on future proposals to develop chunks of agland in the city.
