Posted on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 12:07am

There’s a lot of development, but also a lot of open space in eastern Ventura County, and western Los Angeles County.

A study is underway to see if some of the space can be used as part of a new national park.

After two years of work, some preliminary findings, and alternative concepts have been developed, and will be presented to the public in a series of community meetings starting this week.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco has the story.
