The latest unemployment numbers are showing substantial drops on the South Coast, and statewide as well.
Ventura County unemployment went from 9.4% in August, to 8.8% in September. In Santa Barbara County, the numbers dipped from 7.6% in August, to 7.1% in September.
Statewide, unemployment went from 10.4% in August, to 10.2% in September.
