A Santa Barbara County man is behind bars for the October, 2011 stabbing death of a Ventura County man.
It was October 12th, 2011 when Oxnard Police were called to the 4500 block of Terrace Avenue by reports of shots being fired. Officers found Sergio Arroyo of Oxnard on the ground. The 19 year old man had been shot in the torso, and had several stab wounds to his back. He died at a hospital from his extensive injuries.
Friday, Oxnard police detectives served a search warrant on Cristian Eric Santos of Santa Maria, and arrested him for Arroyo’s murder. Investigators aren’t talking about possible motives for the killing.
