An upper level low pressure system brought some wild weather to parts of Ventura and Santa Barbara counties today, with rain, and even some hail.
Thunderstorms created some locally heavy rainfall this afternoon in eastern Simi Valley.
A flash flood warning was issued for the eastern part of Ventura County, but it expired at 4 p.m. There was also heavy rainfall in parts of eastern Santa Barbara County, but an urban and small stream flood advisory has expired.
We could still see scattered showers, thunderstorms, hail and possibly even waterspouts offshore through the rest of the day.
Snow is possible in our mountains, but the snow level is relatively high, at 7000 feet.
The low pressure system is moving east, with mostly sunny skies and warming in the forecast for tomorrow.
