Posted on Thursday, October 11, 2012 2:06pm

There’s been an alarming surge of an insect pest in Ventura County which is threatening the region’s, and the state’s citrus industry.

Asian Citrus Psyllids have been found in Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, and Santa Paula…with as many found in a month as have been discovered locally in the last year and a half.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco has an update on the problem we’ve been following for the past two years.
