The city manager for a Ventura County community has resigned, after the city council decided it wanted to make a change.
Dave Norman has stepped down as Port Hueneme’s City Manager, after nearly six years on the job. Norman has been the focus of a number of closed door performance reviews by the Port Hueneme City Council during recent months.
A press release says the city council wants to move the city in a new direction, with a new city manager.
In the release, Norman says he’s had a good run with the city, and is looking forward to new professional opportunities.
