Should beachgoers help out financially strapped Santa Barbara County?
That’s a big issue Santa Barbara County Supervisors will face tomorrow.
They’re set to look at whether the county should start charging parking fees at seven county beaches, to raise revenue for county parks.
The County Park Commission held a series of workshops on the issues, and in the face of widespread opposition, is recommending rejection of any fees.
However, the final decision is in the hands of County Supervisors, who are scheduled to look at the issue tomorrow morning.
