Oxnard Airport has announced it will once again have regularly scheduled airline service to the airport.
Airport officials say that starting on October 5th, MVP Airways will offer regularly scheduled charter service from Oxnard to Las Vegas on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
The flights will be on 30 passenger Saab aircraft. The airport, and airline are planning a kickoff ceremony from 3-5 next Friday for the first flight of the new service.
Oxnard Airport has been without regularly scheduled airline service since the summer of 2010, when Skywest dropped its service to the city.
