State funding cuts have hit plans for a proposed new Santa Barbara County criminal courthouse, and the original concept of a brand new complex has been shelved for expansion of the existing Figueroa Street building.
Plans originally called for a $150 million dollar plus complex. But, with courthouse projects being axed around the state, the latest proposal is for building upon the current structure.
