A man who shot to death a Ventura convenience store clerk has been sentenced to spend the rest of life in prison, without the possibility of parole.
Gregorio Aguilar shot to death Sean Odle during a December, 2008 robbery attempted at a Circle K store in Ventura.
Prosecutors say the 22 year old man walked into the store during the early morning hours, and demanded that the clerk hand over cash. Odle went to a register, and dialed 911. Aguilar then shot Odle in the chest, fatally wounding him.
