A Ventura County based non profit group is trying to make a big difference in the lives of children, and adults in Central America’s poorest country.
GOCARE Incorporated provides a range of educational programs in Nicaragua.
The organization is the offshoot of some efforts by some local Rotary clubs in Ventura County to help people in the Central American country.
KCLU’s Lance Orozco caught up with the head of GOCARE as he was working at the organization’s main center in Managua.
