A controversy surrounding a Labor Day soccer match in Simi Valley ended in a fight between the teams, with police saying they arrested a coach for hitting a teenage player.
Simi Valley Police say the clash occurred at the Rancho Santa Susana Community Center.
Investigators say 47 year old Bart Allan threw punches, causing facial injuries to a 16 year old Antelope Valley player. The say the Westlake Village man admitting being involved in the confrontation, but denied hitting any of the teens. Allan was arrested for battery, and corporal injury on a child.
