Brushfire Burning In Los Padres National Forest

A small brushfire has burned more than 25 acres of land in the Los Padres National Forest, in Ventura County.

The fire was discovered at around 11 a.m. Monday, in the Lockwood Valley area. No structures are in danger. More than 100 firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading, but there’s no word on containment. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
