Hundreds of low income students in Santa Barbara County are getting backpacks full of school supplies, through a program run by a non-profit agency, and a bank.
United Way of Santa Barbara County, and Santa Barbara Bank & Trust are supplying 500 of the backpacks to students at 12 schools in the county. It’s the second year in a row the two organizations have teamed up to help students in the county.
