Man Arrested For What Police Are Calling One Man Crime Spree In Ventura

Posted on Sunday, August 26, 2012 11:07am

Ventura Police say they’ve arrested a man who broke into homes, and cars and stole a number of items during a three hour long weekend crime spree.

Officers were called to the 200 block of North Alison Street just after 5:30 a.m. Saturday, by reports of a prowler. They say they found Brandon Harman hiding in a nearby parked car, and they had to forcibly remove him after he refused to surrender.

Police say they recovered items the 31 year old man had stolen from homes, or vehicles on four different streets in the area. Harman was arrested for burglary, possession of stolen property, resisting arrest and prowling. The Merced County man had recently been released from prison.
