A bicyclist is dead, after he was involved in a collision with a big rig in Ventura County.
It happened at around 4:30 Friday morning, on the 2100 block of First Street in Simi Valley. Police say Trinidad Nava of Simi Valley was headed down First Street, when he hit a tractor-trailer rig which was pulling out of a driveway onto the street. The 62 year old man died about an hour later at a Thousand Oaks hospital.
The investigation is continuing, but police say Nava was riding his bike on the wrong side of the street without a light when the collision happened.
