A fund in Santa Barbara County to help create affordable housing has received a $600,000 federal grant.
The Housing Trust Fund of Santa Barbara County was awarded the money by the U.S. Treasury Department’s Community Development Financial Institution Fund.
The money will be used in efforts to create new, and preserve old affordable housing projects.
