The launch of a rocket carrying a classified payload of satellites into orbit from Vandenberg Air Force bases has been postponed for 48 hours.
The Atlas Five rocket was originally supposed to lift off from Santa Barbara County early this morning, but the launch was first postponed to Friday, and then to early Saturday morning.
Officials say the problem isn’t with the rocket, or its payload, but with some of the ground instrumentation systems.
The secret payload is believed to include as many as 13 small satellites.
The launch is now scheduled for 12:13 Saturday morning.
