Ventura County Supervisors have given conceptual approval to the effort.
The plan calls for adding hiking trails, bike paths, and other recreational facilities along the river, while removing problems like homeless camps.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco has an update, from the Ventura County Government Center, in Ventura.
