It’s fair time in Ventura County!
The Ventura County Fair opens its 12 day run this morning. The gates open at 11 a.m., and today is dollar day…admission is a dollar until 3 p.m.
This year’s fair lineup includes performances by rock groups Creed, and Cobra Starship, classic rock stars Joan Jett, and Bret Michaels, and country singer Martina McBride.
There’s also traditional fair entertainment, including demolition derbies, and funny car races tonight, and tomorrow night, and a rodeo the final weekend of the fair.
