Authorities Link Two Thousand Oaks Men To Five Ventura County Burglaries

Posted on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 12:20am

Two men caught in the wake of a burglary attempt in the Conejo Valley over the weekend are now being linked by authorities to as many as four other incidents in eastern Ventura County.

Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies say a resident of Bainbridge Court in Thousand Oaks returned home Saturday to find two men burglarizing the home.

The resident was able to catch, and hold Leodis Wiley until deputies reached the scene. They caught a person they say was his accomplice, Dillon Tunney, a short distance away.

Investigators say they’ve now linked the two Thousand Oaks men to two other burglaries in the city, as well as one in Moorpark, and one in the county, near Lynn Ranch.
