Santa Barbara Man Sought In Connection With Attacks On Homeless In Southern California

Posted on Friday, July 20, 2012 12:34am

A Santa Barbara musician who’s been missing for the last few weeks has been called a “person of interest” by the FBI in three brutal attacks on homeless people in the Los Angeles, and Santa Monica areas.

The LAPD is looking for David Ben Keyes in connection with the stabbings of two men, and one woman.

All three victims survived the attacks, which all happened this month.

They were sleeping on the streets at the time the attacks happened. In each case, signed letters were left with the victims, saying they were death warrants.

A Facebook page for Keyes shows him posing with camping gear, as well as with a gun, and knife.
